Description

Product Overview

Spirax Sarco SB and SBRA series are self-acting temperature control valves. They are used in conjunction with Spirax Sarco SA control systems to provide a self-acting temperature control unit for heating and cooling applications. The SB model is a normally open, single seat valve, while the SBRA model is a normally closed, single seat valve available with or without a bleed hole.

Key Features

  • Constructed with a gunmetal body (BS 1400 LG2) and stainless steel valve plug and seat ring (BS 970 431 S29).
  • Available in normally open (SB) and normally closed (SBRA) configurations.
  • Complies with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
  • Optional extra bleed hole bypass and fusible device available for SBRA models.
  • Maximum operating temperature of 232 °C (450 °F) when fitted directly to an actuator.
