Product Overview
The Spirax Sarco TDS46M is a stainless steel thermodynamic steam trap. It controls the release of condensate and traps steam in low capacity applications, preventing energy loss while ensuring proper system drainage.

- Stainless steel body (1.4308/ASTM A351 CF8) and top cap.
- Maintainable and replaceable hardened steel seat and disc (1.2379).
- Integral strainer screen (ASTM A478 316L) to protect the seating surfaces from dirt and scale.
- Integral air vent utilizing a bimetal ring to discharge non-condensable gases at system start-up.
- Insulating cover prevents the trap from being unduly influenced by excessive heat loss in low ambient temperatures, wind, or rain.
- Optional BDV1 integral blowdown valve available for pre-fitting or as a retrofit kit.
